Hello! We are an audio-visual production and performance team combining experimental electronica, animation and live vocals. Ive just hear about Crypic nights so have missed this year’s deadline, but would like to be considered for any future events. For more informaation, there are music videos, bio etc on the website.
Many thanks, and I look forward to hearing from you,
1. I’ve been to a few of the Cryptic Nights and & have enjoyed each & every one of them in very different ways. I believe that building on the Cryptic strength of ’stay curious’ a new element could be encouraged within the audience by finding a way of getting attendees at events to talk to each other, the people they do not know. Difficult I know, but how about identifying a few people who know about the evening programme who would talk to those waiting to go to the show asking them what they knew about the show & starting a conversation. I think this could enhance the experience and possibly build up a more chatty friendly environment plus an opportunity to hang about afterwards and keep the conversation going. I recognise that the audience changes with the topic but I feel that the finding a way to promote some connectedness would add value to the experience, more business for the Cafe & CCA and may encourage more people to come along simply out of curiosity. l-a
Hi Liz-Anne: good point! This could hopefully also help in getting the artists some much-desired feedback on what they’re doing. We’ll chew on it and see what we can come up with…
